Catalogue published on the occasion of the exhibition "Couturier - Richier: une amitié sculpturale", presented in 2023 at the Galerie Dina Vierny.
This publication brings together the works of the two artists, both of whom—each in their own way—address the question of the representation of the human figure in a profoundly renewed manner. From some of their early works in the late 1920s through to those of the late 1950s, an artistic dialogue shaped by a close friendship develops, coming to an end in 1959 with the death of Germaine Richier.
