"The Valérie"

Unveiled in the “Le Paysan” collection, “Le Valérie” is named after Simon’s mother. Crafted in Italy, it reinterprets the codes of a 1930s handbag through a structured, trapezoidal silhouette, a single handle, and a signature sculptural ring, enhanced by a leather lining.

“Le Valérie” is brought to life through hours of meticulous handcraftsmanship. Each stage, from cutting to assembly, is entrusted to a dedicated artisan, shaping a construction of 19 leather pattern pieces that define the bag’s structure: 13 forming the body and 6 the handle and shoulder strap, with additional internal reinforcements. This layered construction gives rise to its precise, architectural silhouette and reflects the depth of Italian leather savoir-faire behind each piece.

The richness of “Le Valérie” is expressed through a considered selection of leathers and finishes.

Smooth and suede textures interact with subtle variations in surface and depth, revealing the material’s natural character over time.

In “Le Petit Valérie”, grained goat leather introduces a lighter yet structured feel, requiring particularly precise cutting.
